Eid-ul-Fitr Excuse letter

Re: Eid ul Fitr – A Major Islamic Holiday

This is a request for cooperation from employers, School Districts and Correctional Institutions to allow time off to all Muslim person(s), employees and students, so that they may join thousands of other Muslims in celebrating the festival of “Eidul Fitr” – a religious event marking the end of Ramadan – a solemn religious occasion.

Eid ul Fitr will be observed on Tuesday, July 5th or Wednesday, July 6, 2016, subject to new moon sighting. The congregational prayer will be held in the morning hours from 8 AM to 11 AM on that day.
